Turmeric and inflammation. It seemed to help me!

Last week I had a back flare up and my whole lower back area became sore and inflamed. A friend of mine who swears by supplements and herbs suggested I try a high potency Turmeric supplement. I was about to reach for the Ibrufropen but decided to give it whirl.

Next day the inflammation had disappeared and I practiced yoga and had a decent class. Not bad after a back flare up. Since then I’ve done a bit of online research and it seems its a bit of a wonder supplement. I’m generally very sceptical so I did some reading around the subject and have posted some links at the bottom of this article from some different sources.

I’m very interested to hear other people’s experiences too, particularly if people feel it has any effect at all on there ability to practice and progress.
