Fierce Grace: Trying a new studio

I’m trying a new local studio; Fierce grace in Brixton.
Its still hot yoga, and I do like the heat in Autumn, Winter and Spring.
Best still its a local studio, so I can pop in on the way and back from work and claw back a few hours of spare time every week!
The bit I’m really looking forward to is that they have 5 different types of class:
Classic: which I’m told will feel familiar to anyone used to Bikram but with enough variation to make it feel new.
Core: Deep stretching in the heat which sounds interesting.
Fierce Grace: A more energetic class and mixes a few types of yoga
Fix: a 50 minute quick taste of everything, which is going to be handy for me sometimes.
Fierce: a rather daunting advanced version which my studio doesn’t do yet.
So far I’ve tried Fierce Grace which was quite nice sequence. They even played music, I'd never thought about doing yoga to Kate Bush before and I loved it.
There were also planks downward dogs galore, which I wasn’t used to and made my wrists sore!
And some amazing core exercises at then end of the class.
I was a bit incomfortable with my left knees knees in pigeon, must ask for a correction next time.
Early days but I think I'm hooked! Watch this space for more detailed reports!
Finally I’m beginning to climb back onto the horse!
